We’ve just received word from our 2015 graduate, Denis Hasnas! Here’s what Denis had to say:
“I’m currently working at the Sarapiqui Conservation and Learning Center in Chilamate, Costa Rica as an English teacher and program coordinator. Chilamate is a small town which has a tropical forest, a great variety of animals, and a freshwater river which is known for its white water rafting. I teach English 14 hours a week which includes three intermediate level adult classes, one advanced adult class, and one basic kids class. I enjoy teaching English and it never feels boring for me. I live with an awesome home stay family with whom I enjoy practicing my Spanish with. In my spare time I go hiking in the rainforest, bird watch, swim in the river, and read books from the Learning Centers library. So far it has been a great experience for me and I plan to stay here for one more semester.”
Keep up the good work Denis!
