Everything is going really well. Your school prepared me so well to take this next step in my teaching career. I feel confident in the classroom and have a battery of ideas to fall back on when I’m feeling stuck. My first few classes have been great. I meet with one group twice a week. They are 6 employees of a large manufacturing company and I teach them at their work location from 5:30pm to 7:45pm on Monday and Wednesday. They are highly motivated, have excellent speaking skills for their level and are really fun to teach. I also have a 1:1 class with a woman who is at an advanced level, but has very sloppy verbal skills. She is super nice and wants to improve so I’m thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her. Corey has given me both ends of the spectrum and I think I’m doing okay. He mentioned that he spoke with you and that you gave me a glowing review. I appreciate that. He also spoke very highly of you and of course I concur.
