“I graduated from TEFL after a challenging and action packed month. Being a Brit I found myself a million miles away from home, but being in Costa Rica was about having a fresh start. The course provided me with everything I needed to get started as a tutor. Since September 2012 I have been settled in Puerto Jimenez, on the Osa Peninsula, tutoring everyone from local ex-pat children to green grocers to the staff of the Tranquility Estate (private resort). My new start has included learning Spanish, traveling all over the country, and most importantly being a single independent woman abroad living out her childhood dream.
