“I work for a company called Idioma International which focuses on business English. What is interesting about this company is that I travel to the locations of the clients the clients do not come to me. I teach adults in the business field needing to learn English for their careers. I teach all levels of English from beginner to advanced all over San Jose. I enjoy my job and especially my students. I have the responsibility of any normal teacher and a little bit more. Obviously, creating my lesson plans and tailoring them to my students needs. As a teacher at Idioma I am expected to provide and mark all written assignments, quizzes and exams. Idioma uses on online computer program which allows the teachers and students to communicate with each other. My marks, attendance and assignments are posted on this system. I am expected to be very knowledgeable in English grammar. Teaching English has a lot of responsibility but I enjoy the challenge.”
