“I am working at the Sarapiqui Conservation and Learning Center in beautiful Chilamate, Costa Rica. The center is located along the Sarapiqui River and is the headquarters of several sustainable development projects, including eco-tourism, community outreach, and the prestigious English language program. I started a 6 month journey as the English language program coordinator and teacher in early February. So as the coordinator and teacher of the English program and living with a local tico family, I have ample opportunities to practice my Spanish and truly experience life as a tica!”
